Meet Neal

Neal Murata is with the U.S. Foreign Service and has enjoyed exploring the world for the last 16 years from Latin America to Pakistan to Bangkok and most recently in Japan. With roots in the great state of Hawai'i, he now lives in Falls Church and loves exploring new runs and hikes throughout the DMV. He has worked in the Spanish-speaking world for more than 20 years and also worked closely with deaf communities around the world. Neal has gone through more than 15 moves around the world and spent the majority of his life living out of suitcases waiting for his HHE to arrive. Neal understands the joys (and pains) of the Foreign Service and DOD lifestyle and always reminds himself that there really isn't anything else that compares to being able to explore the world one PCS at a time. With all this constant change, he understands the importance of truly finding a place to call home and the complexities that go along with finding the right home from afar.
